Chicago Skyway Toll Hikes Effective Sunday

New Rates for Two-Axle Vehicles, Trucks

E-ZPass Remains a Convenient Option

Effective Sunday, January 1, 2024, tolls on the Chicago Skyway will increase for vehicles with two axles, while prices for trucks will nearly double. The new tolls will cost 660 each way for vehicles with two axles, up from the current 590. Trucks will see their tolls rise to nearly 6 each way.

The Skyway accepts three forms of payment: cash, credit cards, and E-ZPass. Drivers using E-ZPass will continue to receive a discounted rate. Toll evaders may be subject to additional fees.

The E-ZPass system is an electronic toll collection system that allows drivers to pay tolls without stopping. It is a convenient option for frequent Skyway users.
