Alert security forces thwart infiltration bid; 15 pakistani drones spotted near IB in Punjab

Two terrorists have been killed by security forces in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district.

The encounter started after security forces launched an operation based on specific intelligence input about the presence of terrorists in the Rajbagh area of Kathua.

During the operation, the terrorists opened fire on the security forces, who retaliated, leading to the encounter.

Two terrorists were killed in the encounter, while one AK rifle, one pistol, and other warlike stores were recovered from the site.

The Pakistani intelligence agency ISI and terror outfits Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) have been pushing in terrorists from across the border to disturb the peace in the region.

In a separate incident, the Border Security Force (BSF) has spotted 15 Pakistani drones near the International Border (IB) in Punjab.

The drones were spotted in the Ferozepur and Fazilka sectors, and the BSF has increased its vigil along the border to prevent any infiltration attempts.

The Punjab Police has also been alerted about the drone activity, and the two forces are working together to counter the threat.

The increased drone activity along the IB is a cause for concern, as it indicates that Pakistan is continuing to try to send weapons and terrorists into India.

The security forces are taking all necessary steps to thwart any infiltration attempts and to maintain peace and stability in the region.
